Welcome to the College of Nursing
Welcome to the University of Utah College of Nursing! The College is an integral part of the academic Health Sciences Center which consists of the University Health Care system, Eccles Health Sciences Library, the School of Medicine and the Colleges of Health, Pharmacy and Nursing. Established in 1948, the College's baccalaureate and graduate programs are fully accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education.
We have a long and distinguished history characterized by excellence in nursing and gerontology education. The College awards baccalaureate degrees to traditional and second degree students as well as registered nurses. Graduate education in nursing includes the Masters degree, Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) and PhD in Nursing. We also offer certificates and a Masters degree in Gerontology.
