14th Annual Honors for Nursing
Honoring Those Who Dare To Care

This year's program will be held on Tuesday, May 6, 2008, 6:00 to 8:30 pm, in the Little America Hotel Ballroom located at 500 S Main Street, in downtown Salt Lake City.

The Honors for Nursing program was established in 1994, by members of the Faculty and Alumni Association of the University of Utah College of Nursing. This wonderful regional event provides recognition and appreciation for individuals within the nursing profession and those who support nursing. This annual event is celebrated in conjunction with National Nurses Week celebrated May 6-12 each year in honor of Florence Nightingale, founder of the nursing profession, whose birthday is on May 12th.

Join us in a celebration of nursing! Recognize the nurses and nursing colleagues who have touched your life. Individual nominations can be made for $25. An invitation to the recognition reception event will be emailed to each nominee. As a Nominator, you can also attend the dinner at a cost of $25. All other guests will pay $35 to attend.

Unit nominations are also available for $300, which includes five seats to the event and a plaque for the unit to display. Please email honors@nurs.utah.edu or call 801-581-5109 for information regarding unit nominations.
