Director, DNP ProgramCriteria for Appointment Graduate preparation in nursing with academic and administrative experience appropriate to graduate nursing education. Doctoral preparation required. Knowledgeable about the profession of nursing, higher education, research/scholarship, and health care delivery. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and productively with individuals and groups, and demonstrated leadership/management abilities. Licensed or eligible for licensure as an APRN, or advanced preparation in a population- or systems-based nursing specialty such as community health or patient care administration, or experience and identified expertise in a specialty graduate program of study. This is a regular/clinical faculty rank. Selection of the program director is by administrative appointment and subject to annual review. Description Provides program leadership for faculty and students toward implementing the mission, values, strategic goals and vision for the College of Nursing. Areas of Major Responsibility Include, but are not limited to the following activities:
